Championship Custom Banners
I love sports. No matter the type of sport, from tennis to wheelchair golf, I love them all. With the World Cup starting this weekend, I’m certain to be glued to the television for the next month catching every second of the world’s best soccer players in action. My brother, Zach, is the same way. In fact, you might say that Zach loves sports more than I do. Zach is a big fan of the Atlanta Braves, and his mood is determined by the outcome of their games. Zach is happy and smiling when the Braves win. When the Braves lose, it’s best to stay away from Zach because he gets very angry and is scary to be around.
A WONDERFUL TRADITION.
I’m not talking about The Masters golf tournament, either. I’m talking about teams hanging banners from the rafters of their stadiums the year after winning a championship. Three things about this tradition excite me. Read on to learn about those three things.

I like that teams have a special ceremony in which fans are invited to watch and take pictures of the champions hoisting their brand new custom banner up into the rafters where it will hang for years to come. I think it’s a good thing for fans and athletes to spend time together away from the field or court. Teams that don’t appreciate their fans are often the teams that finish in last place.
NUMERO DOS
I like that the championship banners are always full color banners and most of the time these championship full color banners are vinyl banners. Coliseum lights don’t always brighten up the area where the custom banners hang, so I really like the fact that the championship custom banners are usually full color banners because those really brighten up the rafter area. Full color banners are also easier to read than black and white banners, so even people with poor vision get to see the championship vinyl banner.

I LOVE when the opposing team gets intimidated by all of the full color banners hanging from the ceiling of the gym. Athletes love to hear the roar of their home crowd pushing the team to victory. For the visiting team, this noise is not only distracting, it’s downright intimidating! Along with hearing the noise from the home crowd, looking up to the rafters and seeing three or four championship custom banners is also very intimidating to a visiting player. Visiting players are terrified by the sight of championship vinyl banners and the roar of a home crowd.
WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE ABOUT CUSTOM VINYL BANNERS?
There needs to be more championship vinyl banners. If I were in charge of all sports, I would do away with trophies and cups and I would put all of the symbolic emphasis on the custom banner that a team is awarded for winning its respective championship.|When I rule the world, I am going to get rid of all trophies and cups and put all emphasis on custom banners, because I think they are the best indicators of a championship team.|In my opinion, banners should take the place of trophies and cups as prizes awarded to a championship winning team.Doing this would change the Stanley Cup tradition a bit, as players would skate around with a custom banner instead of a trophy. A good name for this new prize would be the Stanley Cup Banner. In college football, instead of being presented with a crystal ball, the national champions would be granted a football shaped custom banner. I would call this the National Champions’ Crystal Vinyl Banner. You see where I’m going with this, right? I think that full color banners are an invaluable asset to sports, and they should be treated that way!
